First world and third world, side by side
We live back-to-back with poverty. First world and third world, side by side. For over a decade, Nation Changers has been the bridge, connecting people who have something to give with communities that need it most.
Inspired by Isaiah 58, we believe that real transformation happens when ordinary people choose to show up for one another. That conviction has grown from a handful of volunteers visiting a single pre-school into a registered NGO touching thousands of lives every year.
Today, our work is anchored in three powerful pillars:
Skills Development
We equip unemployed individuals with practical, income-generating skills, from sewing and crochet to baking and entrepreneurship, so they can provide for their families and lift their communities.
Education
We believe every person deserves access to knowledge. Through our reading programmes, adult literacy classes and early childhood development support, we are breaking the cycle of poverty through the power of learning.
Social Upliftment
We meet people where they are, with food, clothing, infrastructure support and dignity. Because before a person can grow, their most basic needs must be met.

Ntandoyenkosi School Renovation
In partnership with The Valspar Corporation, we are helping Principal Gugu's outstanding pre-school in Molweni grow. The land and buildings are secured, the roof rebuilt and a covered outdoor area added. Next: a kitchen, bathrooms, sick bay, storeroom, two classrooms and a hall.
Work Experience & Internships
Graduates of our week-long Job Readiness course are ready for the workplace. Can your business offer work experience, mentorship or an internship? Tell us what you can offer and we will match candidates to you.

What is Nation Changers?
Nation Changers is a registered NGO and public benefit organisation (PBO 930044846) based at CityHill Church in the Upper Highway area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Inspired by Isaiah 58, it has connected people who have something to give with communities in need since 2011.
How can I volunteer with Nation Changers?

What is Nation Changers Month?
Every July, Nation Changers Month brings together volunteers, churches, businesses and donors for a concentrated wave of community impact. In 2026, over 220 projects were completed, 700 volunteers served and more than R1,688,000 was raised.
Are donations to Nation Changers tax deductible?
Yes. As a registered Public Benefit Organisation, Nation Changers issues Section 18A tax exemption certificates for monetary donations, and B‑BBEE verification certificates (SED and ED) for corporate donors.
